Treat yourself to a unique riding adventure, enjoy fabulous horseback riding across the fascinating Dartmoor landscape. On our high quality, forward going, beautiful Quarter horses.

We’ll guide you through incredible scenery, past prehistoric settlements, neolithic stone circles, ancient tin mines, beautiful forestry as well as Dartmoor’s natural beauty.

• You will be guided through some of the most spectacular riding anywhere in the UK, stopping en-route at local beauty spots for a packed lunch.

Day 1; (usually a Sat, Friday in Sept) Arrive pm/eve check-in at the Castle Inn, Lydford http://castleinnlydford.co.uk/ or another fantastic local pub.

Day 2: Trail ride from Meldon,of approx 4 hrs, overnight at the same Inn again.

Day 3: Ride across Dartmoor approx 4 – 5 hrs to the Two Bridges Hotel https://www.twobridges.co.uk/

Day 4: Ride on to Widecombe, 3 – 4 hrs, for  farm B&B.

Day 5: (May & July) Trail ride around Widecombe, 4 – 5 hrs overnight at Widecombe again.
(Aug) Ride on to Chagford
(Sept) visit to Widecombe fair https://www.widecombefair.com/

Day 6: (May, July & Sept) Ride on to Chagford, 3 – 4 hrs overnight at the Globe Inn, https://theglobeinnchagford.co.uk/

Day 7: Ride home to Meldon, 4 hrs, overnight at a local Inn again.

Day 8: Depart

Booking terms for 2025:
Non-refundable deposit of 20% at time of booking. The balance will be due a month before the trip.

Cancellation policy:
For trips cancelled for whatever reason, any payments made can be used against another trip in  2025 subject to availability,

A full refund, less the deposit

The 2025 August trip will include a day out of the saddle to visit Chagford show
The September trip will include a day out of the saddle to visit Widecombe Fair.
Maximum group size of 8 riders. 7 nights, 5/6 days riding across Dartmoor.

£2270 based on 2 sharing
£2550 for single occupancy
Please note:
2 nights are at farm b&b, single riders may be required to share a twin room with another guest of the same gender on these nights. Anyone that does share will be offered a proportionate reimbursement.
