You have a choice of sleeping options from local Datmoor Inns to camping.

The Castle Inn
Our accommodation is usually at the ‘Castle Inn’, Lydford http://castleinnlydford.com/ and we use them first if they have room, however we have a selection of other local Inns we use.
The Dartmoor Inn https://dartmoorinn.com/ is very friendly with excellent food.
The Bearslake Inn https://www.bearslakeinn.com/ is an old Devon Longhouse with low cielings, great beer garden and excellent restaurant.
The Lydford House Hotel http://www.lydfordhouse.co.uk/ is also a favourite.
All accommodation is on a half board basis, arranged by us. Breakfast will either be at the Inn or the farm. Guests will be collected and returned from the hotels in our courtesy vehicle. Lunch will either be at the farm, a packed lunch or en-route at one of many fabulous local pubs.
Breakfast and lunch are all included in the package. Unfortunately we do not do an evening meal. Guests are free to make use of the Castle’s excellent restaurant or eat out elsewhere in the evening.

‘Shepherd hut Glamping’
For our ‘Dartmoor Cattle Drive’ and ‘Dartmoor Trails’ experiences we can offer an ‘On farm’ stay option.
We have two ‘shepherd hut’ style accommodations. Each are very cosy, one has a double bed, the other two singles, (linen provided) each has wood-burning stove (wood provided) table and chairs and seating. Outside there is a fire-pit with utensils etc for open air cooking.
Guests staying ‘on farm’ also have use of our beautiful guest lodge with kitchen/diner bathroom etc.
We provide the ingredients for your breakfast, bread, cereals, milk etc and we provide lunch on riding days.
We don’t provide an evening meal, guests can cook their own meals on the camp fire or eat out at one of many local eateries.
We can ride to a fantastic beautiful camp spot a few miles from the farm, where the horse are turned loose around us and we camp in traditional style inc camp fire. There is a nearby river with deep pools to swim in.
We are currently working on an overnight camping option, watch this space for further details.
Getting to us
If you don’t want to bring a car, (you do not need one during your stay) we offer a shuttle service to Exeter St David’s train station, Exeter Airport, or Plymouth docks at a nominal rate.
